We blend science and hospitality to support your long-term beauty journey

Telo Labs About Us

Our Five Pillars

Specialization

Specialization

Did you know the medical director behind the conventional New York medspa could be an ER doctor or even a dentist? Not at Telo Labs.

We believe in having the right credentials and specialized expertise. Our Chief Medical Officer is a top plastic surgeon and scientist with over three decades of hands-on experience, and all of our providers are trained extensively in aesthetics.

Simplicity

Simplicity

We like simple.  It’s easy to work with us—start with a virtual or in-person consultation, reserve and manage your appointments online, get fast support for aftercare questions, and keep track of your results and rewards in your account. We also offer a private before-and- after portrait program to help you monitor your progress and make great choices about your next steps.

Service

Service

We strive for excellence inside and out, which means we take great care of our staff so they can take great care of our guests.

We push ourselves to provide exceptional clinical care that’s tailored to each patient. And we can only do that by employing the best providers, giving them room to grow, and incentivizing long-term care over short-term production.

Safety

Safety

We don't just pay lip service to safety—it's in everything we do. Through continuing education, specialized clinical protocols, and weekly check-ins with the Chief Medical Officer, our providers keep safety front and center.

Our team has spent countless hours researching and testing energy-based devices (and avoiding unreliable brands and fads), so if we offer it, we endorse it.

Sincerity

Sincerity

We mean what we say. And when it comes to your skin, we mean it when we say things should be as clear as possible. For too long, patients haven’t been able to compare costs, largely because most providers use obscure, unit-based pricing.

That's why we decided to redefine industry convention and offer results-based pricing, with a fixed price by treatment area that includes free touch-ups.

Our Story

In 2023, Dr. Ken Rothaus, a Harvard-educated, board-certified plastic surgeon, and Ilan Szekely, an accomplished entrepreneur and Harvard MBA, founded Telo Labs, a New York-based aesthetic clinic. The longtime collaborators felt it was important to address a pervasive issue they saw in medspas and doctors’ offices: these were businesses designed to support the needs of owners and doctors, not the patients.

Rothaus and Szekely founded Telo Labs as a thoughtful solution to this issue, providing a patient-first approach that prioritizes excellent aesthetics and elevated service.
